Farrukh Naqvi
Farrukh Naqvi, an aerospace engineer based in Melbourne, has an intense interest in ancient structures and civilisations, especially the Indus Valley Civilisation.
The inspiration for this work came from a miraculous experience that happened one night in March 2019. He began a five-year endeavour to interpret an entire Indus script from a single letter.
He deciphered the ancient alphabet like a military cryptogram using mathematical models and scientific techniques, motivated by the miracle’s indications and his belief that any code could be cracked.
He examined more than 3,000 inscriptions during this deciphering process; the majority of them were on seals and other items.
He spends his free time with his loved ones. Even though it took a tremendous amount of work to decipher the Indus script, he is eager to lend a hand to others in order to decipher the Elamite script, which is another undeciphered script that he thinks may be closely related to the Indus script.
